The founding members of the Starlight Honeys have great news for 2016. In addition to winning this years WMWV song-writing contest for best original song, the trio of Katie O’Connell, Samantha Tracy, and Roger Sorlien have welcomed the addition of some of their talented musical friends and family into the group. What started, as trio with a tight mix of three part vocal harmonies has now become an energetic and diverse sextet with a sweet blending of voice and instruments. The addition of Doug Hazard (dangerous folksinger) on mandolin and vocals, Rachel Sorlien on fiddle and vocals, and Dick Hodges on the upright bass has doubled the talent and the fun!
