A Louisiana roots duo headed by Lisa Brande and Mark Trichka of Vermont and Louisiana respectively. Mark and Lisa have been performing for over twenty years and have been steeped in Louisiana music ever since residing there every winter. They have played gigs with Louisiana Cajun and Zydeco musicians, and every summer they jam up North with RI based Slippery Sneakers Zydeco Band.
In their “Bayou” incarnation, Easy Street focuses on fiddle, mandolin, and guitars, as well as English and French vocals to showcase great American Zydeco, Cajun, R&B, and Swamp Pop music out of the bayous, back roads, and French Quarter.
