A Louisiana roots duo headed by Easy Street’s Lisa Brande and Mark Trichka of Vermont and Louisiana. Mark and Lisa have been performing for over twenty years and are steeped in Louisiana music ever since residing there for part of every winter, playing gigs with Louisiana Cajun and Zydeco musicians, as well as playing every summer up North with RI based Slippery Sneakers Zydeco Band.
In their “ Bayou” incarnation, Easy Street focuses on the fiddle, mandolin, and guitars, as well as English and French vocals, to showcase great American Zydeco, Cajun, old R&B, and Swamp Pop music out of the bayous, back roads, and French Quarter.
